Peter Neil SC

Prior to being called to the Bar, he was a partner in the then well-known mid-tier firm, Greaves Wannan & Williams, conducting its litigation practice. He has appeared extensively before the NSW Court of Appeal and Court of Criminal Appeal. In addition, he has conducted a number of significant matters before the High Court of Australia and appeared in many Special Leave Applications, both seeking and opposing grants of leave. In addition to traditional court appearances, Peter has been briefed by the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the former NSW Police Integrity Commission, whilst also conducting enquiries as an Assistant Commissioner of the ICAC. Peter has expertise in common and criminal law, intentional torts and workplace injury claims. He has appeared in numerous significant cases before the NSW Supreme Court, and on appeals at the cutting edge of their respective areas of law.
