Over the course of his more than decade-long career in the law, Matthew has acted for plaintiffs and defendants in a range of matters, with a particular focus on claims in the areas of public liability, medical negligence, intentional torts, historical sexual abuse, motor accidents, property damage and disciplinary proceedings for medical practitioners.
Matthew acts for individuals, insurance companies, religious institutions, educational institutions and corporations.
Matthew’s experience working for both plaintiffs and defendants gives him a unique insight into the key drivers for all parties to the proceedings, enabling him to obtain the best possible outcome for his clients by understanding the motivations and processes of the other side.
He has appeared led and unled in Supreme Court, District Court and Local Courts of New South Wales.
Matthew has a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney. When he is not advocating for clients, he enjoys playing basketball (poorly, he admits), but enthusiastically.”
