John Tryon was called to the Bar in 2018 and has worked extensively in common law and insurance law. He has appeared led and unled in the District and Supreme Courts of NSW, the Dust Diseases Tribunal of NSW, the NSW Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of the ACT.
Prior to being called to the Bar, John acted for individuals, insurers, corporations, government departments and organisations, primarily in personal injury litigation and contribution and indemnity disputes in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. His current areas of practice include dust diseases, intentional torts, institutional abuse, public liability, motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, professional liability, work injury damages, insurance law and commercial disputes.
