David accepts briefs in all areas of law, and has a particular interest in torts, insurance and media law.
Before coming to the bar, David was a Senior Associate at Banki Haddock Fiora, a leading media and intellectual property law firm. David practised nationally in defamation law, acting for media defendants in a range of State and Federal courts. In addition to specialising in defamation and media law, David developed a broad disputes practice spanning a range of common and commercial law areas, including intentional torts, negligence, statutory insurance, competition and consumer law, contracts, intellectual property, information law and privacy.
David holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney, where he studied on a Chancellor’s Award Scholarship and received several academic prizes.
