Alex Giurtalis is one of the leading Dust Diseases and Toxic Tort Barristers in Australia, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in all States at trial and appellate level. He regularly leads expedited litigation throughout Australia in difficult circumstances.

Since being called to the Bar in 2000, Alex has also conducted litigation across various areas including common law, insurance, sexual and institutional abuse. Alex regularly presents at legal and medical seminars. He is a Contributions Assessor in the Dust Diseases Tribunal of NSW and is appointed as the sole barrister member of the Dust Diseases Tribunal Rule Committee under the Dust Diseases Tribunal Act 1989 (NSW).
